
His Grace Devakinandana Dasa (Devakinandan Prabhu) is an international lawyer, senior ISKCON leader, and President of the Gita Reading Society (ISKCON Singapore), a position he has held since 2007. Based in Singapore, he combines an accomplished legal career with extensive administrative, legal, and preaching services for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
He was introduced to Krishna consciousness in 1983 after reading the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam translated and commented upon by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda. In 1993, he received spiritual initiation from His Holiness Mahāviṣṇu Goswami Maharaja. Following the instructions of his spiritual master, he regularly travels internationally, leading kīrtanas and delivering lectures on the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and the philosophy of Krishna consciousness.
Within ISKCON’s international governance, Devakinandana Dasa serves as General Legal Counsel to the Governing Body Commission (GBC), providing legal guidance on global matters affecting the Society. He also serves as the Global Duty Officer (GDO) for Legal Affairs and is responsible for supporting the development of ISKCON in Singapore as the Zonal Supervisor under the regional GBCs.
In addition, he serves on several key international committees, including the GBC Organizational Development Committee and the GBC Nominations Committee, and is a trustee of the Mayapur Vrindavan Trust (MVT).
Professionally, Devakinandana Dasa graduated in law from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is the founder of an independent legal practice in Singapore. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at ESSEC Business School.
Through his legal expertise, administrative leadership, and dedication to devotional service, Devakinandana Dasa continues to make significant contributions to ISKCON’s worldwide development and governance.
